A Busman’s Holiday Wedding?
Its been several weeks since our last blog post, why we here you ask? Our very own Dean Holloway tied the knot himself this month to his stunning bride Kimberley at the grandeur of Ruthin Castle in North Wales. Jonathan’s been holding both reigns in Deans absence and now Dean is back from his honeymoon in Mexico, we couldn’t wait for his thoughts and take on being at the other side of the fence.
“Our day was spectacular, it was a bit strange being a groom, dealing with so many weddings week in, week out. Ruthin Castle provided a spectacular location for our day, we decided to have a destination wedding (plus I wanted to avoid a venue I’ve worked previously as we have covered most in the Yorkshire area) but most of all create a memory for our guests. Ruthin Castle combines old and new with a contemporary feel, the original castle is around 800 years old and ruled by previous monarchs of our country. We were fortunate enough that the weather stayed fine, which allowed us to be married outside in the ruins of the castle. Our reception continued inside with our own Elite WOW factor added with our mood lighting in our bespoke colour of blue along with our illuminated 5ft light up letters spelling “LOVE”. Unfortunately taking the white LED dance floor proved a step too far logistically due to the distance and man power, however an Elite Sound entertainment package of dj/host and live band for our evening reception proved extremely popular with our guests and with a surprise feast in the way of Fish & Chip catering van on site added a great touch for our guests”
Deans been kind enough to share some images of his day for our viewing pleasure
